The Daily Journal published a cover story about a case, Panah v. the United States of America, in which Jason K. Feldman and Ian Wallach are representing the defendant. The story describes the efforts of Feldman & Wallach to provide their client – an individual who, while in custody, independently earned both a Master’s Degree and a Ph.D., only to also acquire a fatal illness. The complaint alleges that the Bureau of Prisons knew of the likelihood of the illness yet failed to warn inmates of available preventative measures or provide adequate safeguards.
