Ian is the M*****F***IN’ MAN!

I have written/ deleted/ rewritten this review a few times now, trying in previous iterations to be professional, but, to speak from my heart, read the title of this review. I talked to an old lawyer of mine about my case, and he’s the kind of guy that won’t go out unless he’s got on his Armani/ Klein, whatever, and I have never felt very comfortable talking to him. Well, he didn’t ask much about my case/ situation, just put down the price and told me to get back to him. I went and saw Ian out of sheer luck finding avvo, and, this guy saved my f**ing life. I was in a position to be looking at a felony, and probably at MINIMUM a very serious misdemeanor, and I walked out of court with neither. Had the case gone any other way, I’d be out of a job/ house/ pretty much done for, and Ian HANDLED it. It’s funny ’cause another lawyer mentioned his “surfer demeanor”, which, is no joke. The guy is kick back when you’re talking to him. I actually was nervous for a second when we first started talking thinking “is he TOO chill?”, and then he asked about my case, asked about everything I was upset my other lawyer hadn’t asked about, started talking about defenses, and started to prove that yeah, while he doesn’t come across as a d***, he is a SERIOUS M******F****** when it comes down to it. Answered all my calls, regardless of the hour , (to a point where I told him “dude, I was just going to leave you a message, you don’t have to pick up EVERYtime), but, that’s what he does. I ask a s***load of questions, too many probably for most people’s liking, but Ian answered every single one of them, usually in less than an hour. When we first met, not 20 minutes into the conversation he told me that this is what he loves to do. I thought “Yeah, if I were a lawyer, I’d say that too”. But he wasn’t kidding. This man whooped some ass in my defense, and when we stepped out of the courthouse I said “F*** a handshake, bring that s*** in for a hug”, and I could seriously see that this is what he LOVES to do; helping out people who maybe just had a bad luck of the draw. Ian, I could never begin to properly pay you back for what you did for me, but, I can thank from the bottom of my heart man. Sincerely. Thank you.
