Ian Wallach Presents “Embracing Blue Bias” at NADCL’s 2025 Defending Mayhem Conference

Ian Wallach presented on “EMBRACING BLUE BIAS – Using Law Enforcement Officer Bias To Your Client’s Benefit” at NADCL’s 2025  “Defending Mayhem: Murder, Malice, and Crimes of Violence” in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  There were over 400 attendees.  The speech centered around exposing the “Us v. Them” mentality within police agencies that results in an officer’s bias against defendants, simply because they are defendants, and how officers put their desire that a jury accept the officer’s narrative and theories above the officer’s duty to seek justice, how to show that to juries and the unreliability that follows, and why the jury should have doubt, reasonable doubt, as a result of that bias.
